WEDDINGS - RECEPTIONS - ANNIVERSARIES

Having a bagpiper at a wedding is a way for the bride and groom to
celebrate, honor, and connect with their Celtic roots.
You may choose when you would like the bagpipes to be played.

Here are some suggestions:

1.) Several minutes before the ceremony begins it's appropriate for what is called "The Calling of the PIpes".
Here the bagpipes set a fitting mood for the wedding ceremony itself.
The pipes can be played inside or outside as guests arrive.

2.) The pipes can be played for the arrival of Bride and the Bridal Party.

3.) During the processional the bride, or the groom, may walk up the aisle with the piper leading them in.

4.)  During the wedding the pipes may be played as a solo; or, used to accompany the lighting of the Unity Candle.

5.) Following the marriage ceremony the piper can lead the newlyweds back down the aisle.
This often gives the most dramatic results;
especially if the family members, and/or the guests, have no idea a piper is present.

6.) The bagpipes may be used as background music during the taking of the Official Wedding Photographs.
This is also an excellent opportunity for any requested bagpipe tunes from your guests.

7.) The pipes may be used to welcome guests into the Official Reception.

8.) The piper can lead the Bride and Groom to the Head Table at the Reception Dinner.

9.) The pipes may be played for the cutting of the cake; and, to toast the happy couple.

10.) The pipes may be used to lead those seated at the Head Table during a Wedding Breakfast.
