It has been customized with an additional
recessed, spring-loaded handle on top;
a name plate and an antique fire truck emblem
on the left front; and,
an aluminum firefighter logo on the front right.

The underside of the lid
has been paneled in wood; and,
a wood housing has been mounted
over the recessed handle mechanism.

Photographs have then been affixed
to the underside of the lid with thumb
tacks.

because the entire 9 inch depth was not
required just to store the bagpipes.
