FUNERALS - MEMORIALS - COMMEMORATIONS

The bagpipe is not only associated with joyous occasions, but solemn occasions as well.

Memorial services across the nation pay distinguished tribute to our country's
veterans, firefighters, peace officers, and civilian loved ones in a unique and dignified manner.

The piper may play selected hymns or melodies either at the memorial itself or at the grave site.

There is probably no more dramatic and effective way to conclude a memorial service.

Here are some suggestions for when the bagpipes can be played according to your wishes:

1.) The pipes can play as the congregation arrives for the funeral or memorial service.

2.) The pipes can lead the coffin into the service.

3.) The pipes can play while leading the coffin to the hearse after the service.

4.) Alternately, the pipes can play at the end of the service as people leave.

5.) At the grave site, the pipes can play as the coffin is taken from the hearse.

6.) The pipes can play to close the grave site service.
